About

IBSA Foundation was established in 2012 in Lugano, Switzerland, by the pharmaceutical company IBSA Institut Biochimique SA.

Vision and Mission

IBSA Foundation’s vision is to merge scientific and humanistic culture to "go beyond treatment".  

The mission is to promote an authoritative and accessible scientific culture through outreach, participation in a scientific network, and support for research and education.

Our team

IBSA Foundation avails of two Boards made up of experts in the cultural, academic and scientific fields who help bring together projects partnerships and events. 

The Advisory Board of IBSA Foundation includes influential figures from both academic and cultural spheres. The Scientific Board sees representatives of international standing from the scientific community. 

Both Boards are coordinated by Silvia Misiti, Director of IBSA Foundation. She is supported by Jacopo Crespi for Communication and Sara Comodo for Admin and Events.
