We hear more and more about the Internet of Things. What is it?

Luciano Floridi, Professor of Philosophy and Ethics of Information at Oxford University, explains it to us in this video: we started to record data, then making them communicate with each other, and today we are at the point where data has become their own autonomous agents. Consequences? A huge change: by 2020, direct communication between machines and machines will become predominant. And we will move from a web of things to a network of processes and relationships.
