Full biography
- Dr. Bruno Imthurn graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zurich, then completed his studies in Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine at the Endocrinology Clinic, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Zurich University Hospital.
- His postgraduate course continued in Melbourne, Australia, at the Monash University Institute of Reproduction and Development.
- He is currently Professor Emeritus and was formerly Chairman of the Department of Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Zurich.
- In addition, he is the Author and Co-Author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers, his works have been presented at many national and international conferences.
- His contributions have been recognized by authoritative experts in the field all over the world.
- He is an active member of various societies and academies: he served as Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Swiss Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (SGGG) and a member of the Swiss Medical Association (FMH), the Swiss Society of Reproductive Medicine (SGRM), the Swiss Society of Menopause (SMG) and the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
- The academic career of Dr. Imthurn is studded with numerous awards and his research, focused on reproductive endocrinology, has obtained many funding.
