- Domenico Salvatore is a Full Professor of Endocrinology of the Department of Public Health at the University of Naples Federico II.
- After studying medicine, he specialised in endocrinology with a PhD in Molecular Endocrinology, specialising in Clinical Endocrinology at the University of Naples Federico II.
His studies continued abroad, with a period of research at the Thyroid Division of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
- Prof. Salvatore has collaborated with some of the most prestigious scientific journals in the field of endocrinology, including Frontiers in Endocrinology, Journal of Endocrinology – the official journal of the British Society of Endocrinology, Hot Thyroidology – journal of the European Thyroid Association, Endocrinology – official journal of the Endocrine Society, and Thyroid – official journal of the American Thyroid Association.
- He is also an author and co-author of numerous scientific articles and peer-reviewed presentations and has been a guest speaker at many national and international conferences thanks to his work.
