Full biography
- Domenico Salvatore is Full Professor of Endocrinology at the Department of Molecular and Clinical Endocrinology at the University of Naples Federico II.
- After studying medicine, he specialized in endocrinology with a PhD in molecular endocrinology and a specialization in clinical endocrinology at the University of Naples Federico II.
- His studies continued abroad, with a period of research at Brigham’s Thyroid Division Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
- Professor Salvatore has collaborated with some of the most prestigious scientific journals in the field of endocrinology, including “Frontiers” in Thyroid Endocrinology, “Journal of Endocrinology” – the official journal of the English Society of Endocrinology, “Hot Thyroidology” – journal of the European Thyroid Association, “Endocrinology” – official journal of the Endocrine Society, and “Thyroid” – official journal of the American Thyroid Association.
- In addition, he is the Author and Co-Author of numerous scientific articles and peer-reviewed presentations, and thanks to his work has been a guest of many national and international conferences.
