German-speaking Switzerland
The Let’s Science! project was launched in German-speaking Switzerland in 2024. It operates through two initiatives: a workshop at the Cartoonmuseum Basel and the new Museum Tour project. These two activities offer an innovative and engaging approach to science for secondary school pupils, through the language of comics and the museum experience.
Museum Tour
IBSA Foundation is proud to present its pioneering Museum Tour project, which gives secondary school classes the chance to take part in free science laboratories and workshops at various museums. The project allows pupils to explore science in a different way, approaching these topics in an innovative fashion.
Cartoonmuseum Basel
In 2024, the Let's Science! project was set up for the first time at Cartoonmuseum Basel, a partner of IBSA Foundation since 2023.
Pupils were able to attend a lesson by an expert on a particular scientific topic. They later turned what they had learned into comic strips inspired by the topic.
